Past: Like any young woman she married early and was expecting to be a mother. However her village was attack by a troop of a rouge miltary group. Her husband did his best to fight, but landed up dying in the process. The troops showed no mercy, they sliced into her and ripped her unborn child out of her.
As she laid on the floor breathing her final breaths she seen a shadow figure walked into the dark room and only able to hear the words "we are done here." Just like that they were gone.
Maybe it was her will to live or even more so wanting to get revenge she survived the horrid attack thanks to a passing doctor. It was only then she found out she was the only survivor.
The doctor that saved her told her that her will to live was stronger anyone he had come across and that she might be the chosen one. Telling her of a old story that those who go to the top of mt fuji will meet with a god, and if they god approves they will be chosen to carry out a special mission in their life time.
having nothing left this was the only thing she had to hold onto. She Journeyed far and wide to reach the top of the mountain, and there she met the god who was in fact a dragon as old as time. The dragon seen the power and gave her a gift. Part of his own soul he gave to her and she accepted the gift.
Life was never the same again and it never will be. No human can say they were now half dragon well had a dragon soul in them.
Present: After 13 years of the incident Chihaya travels from village to village, being hired for her samurai skills to either collect a bounty or just to simply be hired as a body guard. Never calling place home or staying in one spot for to long. Sure she might stay in one spot for a season but it is mostly for selfish reasons. Like maybe the booze is just to damn good to pass up or maybe its a harsh winter to travel.
But her skills are not only used on humans she also takes care of the local demons or what she calls pest control. Or laying spirits to rest or even figuring why the natural order is thrown off.
But never forgetting her real goal and that is to seek those who took everything from her so she can finally get her revenge even if it meant dying in the process.
Weeks, Months, Years go by and still no sign of those who took from her. Never losing hope in what drove her to live this long. As the years went by, she finally got a lead and now was her chance to strike. Leaving her home land to travel across the open waters, she joined a special operation force.
A clear mind and a steady blade usually means a broken soul. But there is even beauty in the broken, that maybe one day the soul will find peace..
About: A ruthless killer who always seems to have luck on her side. Always playing dumb when in battle and what she calls 'mistakes' or 'slip up's'. Always traveling from one place to another. Not only does she put humans on bounties but also goes for the supernatural as well. If it has a price it must bleed right?
Personality: laid back without a care in the world. Loves her tobacco and alcohol along with a good long nap. never takes anything seriously more so in battle.
