Go Ha Jin is a 25 year old girl, living in Seoul. It seems she has a lot of problems and starts drinking Soju as she is annoyed nothing is going the way she wants it too. Wondering why her life is so difficult another man who seems to be homeless seems to next to her as she stares at him as he is looking at the bottle of Soju she was holding. Kind enough as she was she offered him her Soju as she looked him when he drank quite a bit of it. of a sudden she speaks up and says "Mister, have you ever wanted to sleep for a hundred or a thousand years? Everything keeps going wrong, and you don't see any hope of it getting better. You tell yourself, I'm sure things will get better. Then another thing goes wrong. I would just prefer...to fall asleep and never wake up again. I want to forget everything. But it's not working. That jerk who left me with a pile of debt. That wench who fooled me and ran of with him. Gosh... I should never have trusted anyone. Mister, you know what? I thought that if I didn't change, the people I trusted and liked wouldn't change either. I was wrong, though. How did my life end up this way"
she tells him all as she starts crying as he tells her "Your life can't change, just because you want it to. Maybe if you died and came back to life again." She then spots a kid at the other side, probably wanting just to stick his feet in the water and didn't think much of it until she looked again and didn't see him anymore, a sort of panic as she suddenly saw him in the water, wanting to call out to the mister but he had fallen asleep as she annoyed jumps into the water then trying to save him. As she saves the kid and boards him on the boat of his father, his father tries to save Ha jin as a sun eclipse arrives and a force pulls Ha Jin causing her to drown in the water and (probably) dies. THE BEGINNING OF HAE SOO : After having died, she wakes up in the Royal Bathing place, as she appears out of the water, being seen by the princes she fled the scene with the help of Chae Ryung. Chae Ryung pulls her by the wrist through a hidden passage as she tells Hae Soo to hurry. As they walk further Hae Soo tells her to wait a moment as she is confused of what is going on. "Do you know me?" She asks, which surprised her maid Chae Ryung. "this doesn't look like the park, What am I doing here?" Chae ryung get's confused and tells her it's the biggest washing place in Songak. The amount of shock is so big that Hae Soo thinks it's the afterlife and passes out, only to wake up in Lady Hae's house. Lady Hae and Chae Ryung asked her or she was okay after hitting her head on the rocks, as they get surprised when she asked them why they call her Lady or Hae Soo and tells them her name is Go Ha Jin. When she thinks she died, Chae Ryung told her she didn't but that she almost did, which shocks Ha Jin, as she rushes out of the house to see what's going on, finding herself in Songak, The home of the 8th prince Wang Wook in Goryeo.
