Aryu spends his time investigating spiritual anomalies. He is a ghoul, but he moonlights as a spirit detective, from time to time. He owns a magazine that travels from city to city, each issue dealing with a different ghost or demon that through his investigations and publishing of articles sets the tormented soul free. When he's not hunting ghosts he's the star attraction, either as the stripper who never fully disrobes or owner of the bar at the strip and dance club bar known as Addicted To Death. He is a retired escort, meeting Yoshiatsu made him unwilling to ever even look at any other man. He juggles all this while remaining the vocalist of VK J-rock band, MORRIGAN. In all reality he spends most of his free time with Yoshiatsu whenever he can. He loves his boyfriend more than life itself.
